I use 16s on mine also. It's only for winter so no point in buying good rims for them to get destroyed.

For the IS350 you'll have to stick with 17" wheels at the smallest given the larger brake calipers

I have 16" winter rims as well, the ride is a bit softer than on my summer 18"s
Don't care to get any bigger ones since they get covered in snow and dirt right away.
