Default new is250 owner, first mod

Like the title says i recently purchased a 06 Crystal White IS250 with black leather navi back up camera etc.. Well on my way home with the car it got dark and the auto lights kicked on and i seen the car had halogen lights not hids! I was so pissed off but at the same time its my fault for assuming all ISx50s come with hids. Ive had two IS300s and both came with hids so i guess that was my thinking.. Anyways that lasted about 2 days, i was on cl browsing the classifieds when i seen jzsicklexi had some retro fitted tsx headlights for sale, i thought about it for a day and then pulled the trigger after reading his build thread. I have got to say the difference is un explainable and he did one hell of a job in making this lights. Below are just a few shots of the car with the lights now. From here i guess its time to go to coils lip kit and wheels!!!

a test run

new lights in

amazing cut off line

my old 01 is300

the first IS i bought, 04 sport design

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to CL.

Great first mod with the HIDs. Get some coils or springs depending on your preference. But make sure you consider a rear sway bar or the sway set while you're at it. It makes a big difference.

Initial I want coilovers because i had d2s on my black car, but I do not plan on slamming this car and stretching the tires. I just want a clean looking comfortable car, I've been reading on here about h&r springs but I just can't decide yet. First ill get a lip kit de badge it and pick some wheels out, I'm thinking vossens.

Silver yea the gold would look good with the white and I may do that, but for some reason I just want to get a black wheel with a good deep lip, and have the lip powder coated the color of the car. I just feel like it would look so sick, with blacked out grilles and possibly black the roof... I've got the winter to start collecting parts and then come April next year just put it all on

Glad you like the headlights!! After putting on factory HIDs again I'm sad I sold them but happy they went to a good home! your cars all look super clean, I'm looking forward to the build.

I think it might be the camera but the cutoff in the projctors seems kinda weak?
