Default 2011 LED headlight wiring

Hi everyone

I am looking at fitting the 2011 LED headlights to my 2007 IS250. I currently have HID's and AFS.

I have been offered a complete set of headlights from a wrecked car.

All the kits I have seen for this fit ie Sewell's etc include additional wiring for each headlight. What is the purpose of this wiring, and will I need it to fit the second hand light units to my car? I know I need the additional relay and this will be ordered from Lexus.

Both sets of lights are HID ready.

Thanks for your help
James

The new ones will fit right in perfectly like it belongs there, their i portion is to get the LEDs to show at100% when you turn on your park lights....it's not too bad just moving around 3 wires and I believe the diagram is in the DIY for our cars...the wiring that's in the kit is the wiring to give power to the LED board and also power the turn signal, that's at the dealer for about 15 each and you need two, and then the relay is to make the turn signal blinks at normal speed..

I'd grab the headlight to bumper bracket also. That way you don't need to trim anything and in case you decide to upgrade to the newer bumper also!

edit: here's an install guide/tips for you

Hi both

That's great, thankyou.

Do you know the part numbers that I need for the wiring and brackets?
