2011 Headlight Question
I just got into an accident and damaged by 2006 IS250 passenger side. I have the upgraded 2011 LED lights, but since Sewell does not sell the LED lights anymore, can I simply buy an OEM 2011 LED light on eBay and it should work.
Is there a difference in the pins on the wiring harness or could I simply plug the new headlamp and it should work. I already have the relay for the LED strip and that has been working for a few years. I'm just not sure if there is some special way of re-pinning the wiring harness to make it work with a 2006.
Thanks in advance.

They have to be pre-pinned - most on ebay aren't as they're from wreckers. If you're buying new from a dealer ask them before you purchase if they can repin them lights.
It's a relatively easy thing to do though - find the picture of the Sewell pins in the 2011 thread and copy it.

If you just plug it in as it is the only problem will be the led strip won't come on but other than the led drl everything else works fine without re pinned. I just remove the led strip wires from the connector and tap it to the fuse box that way they are on as soon as u started the car
