Does this senor on the dash for the lights control the unit that auto dims the nav system? my nav unit is not auto dimming at dusk anymore this started to happen after a car wash. Stays on bight and does not change into the dark backround anythoughts of sugg?

 

turn the brightness switch on the left side if is to max than the navi wont dim

 

When you have the dash brightness all the way up, it doesn't dim the navi.

my **** is to the left of the steering wheel at knee level,try turning it to the right, if it won't go turn to the left til you feel the click and you're set
