From time to time my xM NavWeather activates. The last time was a few days ago when a thunderstorm was in the area and I noticed there was a message saying severe weather in the area. Does it activate to give severe weather alerts even though you aren't subscribed to it? The strange thing is that it's still active even though the severe weather was several days ago. This also coincided with a download for Lexus insider. Is there anyway that could've activated it? Thanks.

Me and a friend also got this same warning and we are in florida, it was about 2 or 3 days after storm issac.

 

Yes that's it. My NavWeather has been active ever since. I can see forecasts etc even though I've never activated the service.
