Nav touchscreen failure + no sound = coincidence?
Hi everyone,
I have a 2007 IS250 and my navigation touchscreen recently stopped working about a week ago. The system still works, except that I can't use the touchscreen. After doing some searching, I decided to order a new screen to fix the problem.
A few days ago, I noticed that the audio stopped working as well (it was working after the touchscreen went out). I can see the volume numbers go up and down but no sound comes from the speakers. I tried the AUX connection and sound does not come out either. I have an OEM amp in the car.
Do you think it's just a bad amp or is it a sign that the actual head unit (not just the screen) needs to be replaced? Besides the touchscreen and the sound, everything else seems to be working fine.
Thanks.

Not sure about the audio issue though, i'm sure someone else can chime in there.
