Hey folks, I have an 04 GS430 w/nav ML. I was out this afternoon and noticed the station going in and out with a slight popping sound, at my last stop I get in the car and and notice vertical distortion on the nav screen and no sound. Now some of the icons on the audio page are gone..before I had an adjustment for bass, mid, and treb. Now only bass and treb, and the speaker icon is gone also and there is no sound. Any ideas?

 

I forgot to mention that it eats the 30a fuse the second you put it in.

 

Sorry for not getting back to this sooner, I have heart issues and was off my feet for a few.
I know there are a bunch of threads about the amp being bad. I have just never had a bad amp blow the fuse (30a) before. Any ideas on where to start checking for a short in the system? My first thought is to pull the amp and check for bad caps ect.
