I am having a problem with my is350. The problem is every time I hit speeds of 75 or 80 mph, the car starts making a vroom vroom sound. I am guessing either my shocks are bad or is it a bearing, I have no idea.
Has anyone else had this problem? If anyone is in Houston or Corpus Christi thats a mechanic or knows of a good mechanic please let me know. thanks
You have any more detail other than the vroom vroom sound. Kinda hard to tell you whats wrong without more detail. Bad shocks would give more of a clunking sound.
Does it go away if you take your foot off the gas?
Does it go away if you gently press on the brake?
Does it go away if you put the car in neutral?
Does it change if you open any of the windows (just a crack)?
Also, please let us know the following:
Have you inspected underneath the car to make sure nothing is flapping?
Have you changed any body panels?
What other mods have you done to your car?
Wheels?
Tires?
Mileage on the car?
