I agree, nostalgia hits me a lot too when i plug in my ipod. If only our seats also had massage feature on it it would serve as my best way to relax lol

I used to do this all the time a few years ago when i had a 1st gen gs300, i'm in Chicago and it seems like there are a million cars out at all hours of the day and people drive like such asses, so i don't do it anymore with the is350.

Yes, but only if I head away from the city. Back roads...and the more twisty the better!

I used to do this all the time when my ex and I had bad fights. For me, driving in general helps relieve stress. Late nights are great since less cars are on the road

I don't anymore but used to do this this all the time when I was younger (teenager and early 20s). I had a '69 Mustang and we used to cruise all over town. Late at night when everyone else had split, I would head for the back roads and just drive.... Windows down, exhaust blaring, and likely a Black Sabbath or Anthrax tape in my JVC deck. Great times.....

I do a bit of hiking & sometimes I leave real early to get to my starting point, and I love hitting the interstate at 4:30 - 5:00 am when nobody is on the road. Windows down as I go through the gears, and before I know it I'm topping 100...
Those are my favorite rides !

When my divorce was first starting out I did it all the time, something about the power of the car and the road just gets rid of all the stress.

Had the music thumping and just my mind at peace. I was driving a Scion tC then, my poor car met the side of some old ladies car a few weeks ago, hence why I got the Lexus and a back surgeon....damn it sucks getting old haha.

Kind of explains why my gas bill was so high those first few months....damn she keeps costing me money. Can't wait for that to be over with.

yep, no music, just the wind, skyline, and my 350....its an awesome feeling especially since in Houston our freeways are vacant at this time as compared to 7a.m.-8p.m.
