I made sure my AFS ecu was plugged IN, basically the opposite of this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...afs-light.html
I then reset it by pulling the fuses. still no luck. One bulb being out shouldn't mess with the afs system, should it?

Sorry for taking the focus away from the AFS...

I know for sure I have the sport package.
I just dont have the option to turn off AFS in the menu which is very odd. I also don't notice it auto leveling on start up. There seems to be some kind of disconnect. I guess no one else has experienced this?

There is definitely an issue with the AFS ECU and/or wiring and/or power to it. If the ECU is not working/connected, the rest of the car assumes you have no AFS, which is why there is no light on, and why the AFS is not appearing in the menu. You need to find out why the AFS ECU is not communicating with the rest of the car, whether it is due to no power (fuse or broken wire), or no connection to the rest of the car (bad ECU or broken/damaged wiring).
The car clearly has the components, they just aren't functioning.

Potential solution:
I went as far as messaging the OP to find out if he/she ever fixed this problem as I am having the same exact thing. Here's the thing - my scenario is not a matter of "pretty sure" but it is a for sure. I've seen the headlights move up and down and side to side before, as well I've seen the AFS in the menu before but now it's gone.
Recently I was doing a parasitic drain test on my batter (another thread) which involved removing each fuse one at a time and checking if the draw on the batter was changing. When I had removed the fuse for AFS and put it back in, I happen to put it back into the wrong empty slot right beside it. This did not trigger an AFS light to turn on or flash on the dash board. This made the AFS option not to show up even on the menu that allows me to control it. This also disabled the AFS system as well as the levelling system. Once I stuck the fuse into the right place, all is well and working.
Just wanted to post this up in case anyone else is having this same issue - check the fuse is not blow and it is in the right location. Hope this helps someone some day.
