Default HID/AFS Help...

Good Morning guys. I am new to the IS forum seeing as i Upgraded from a 1991 LS400 (Still Own it). I have a 2008 IS250 that is Supposed to come with Factory HID and AFS (Confirmed with a Call to Lexus with a VIN Check) but the car doesn't seem to have Either.. My IS has an Aftermarket HID kid (As if it was an Upgrade from Halogen) and not the D4S that comes OEM..

I dont know how the Change was done i have no Warning lights on the Dash and the AFS option that comes up on the Information display is stuck on the "On" position.

I am at a total loss as to what to do and would like a bit of Input. I am Extremely hands on and will take the Bumper and Headlamps off just to confirm but have nothing to compare them to..

I used the search function and found nothing to compare to before taking the Bumper off and would like a bit of help if possible..

Thank you guys.

I'm not sure what your question is. Do you want to turn off AFS? Do you want to switch HID bulbs?

There's one way to check it. If ur car originally equipped with hid and afs there should be 2 afs sensor/leveler. Both on driver side wheel well by the front suspension and one by the rear suspension. If u have those then I'm guessing the previous owner switched the headlight to non hid? Just do a search on afs leveler and u can find some pictures of where's it located.

Easy way to disable AFS if that's what you want is find fuse labeled "AFS" and just pull it. This will disable it
