I searched the forums and couldn't find this (if I missed it though I do apologize)

I am looking to replace the ignition button in my 08 IS350. I wanted to do a custom button faceplate. Has anyone done this if so do they have any links or sites they would suggest.

Basically I want to replace it with the "Power" logo and have it light up blue when you press on the brake, I was also thinking just doing a solid red button with power logo that lights up.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

 

this isn't mine (though mine is done too) Enrikito has a better picture. it's possible to change the LED's throughout the car. There's a DIY on here, just use search.



As for the face plate you can get a TRD one if you want

 

Wondering how hard it would be to take the red faceplate out and replace with a custom one, to include replacing the led behind it that lights it up.

 

I didn't take mine out when my led lights were changed but I don't know if you could change the whole face like it sounds you want. I'd say buy a used one at a junk yard and play with that before you mess up the one in your car and you can't start it.

 

If I did something like this I would make sure it looks like kirby!
