Default Power Button Light

I thought the Power Button stays lit when the car is running. Can you guys confirm that your Power Button is lit when the car is running.

It seems my Power Button light goes on when starting the car, and then is off. Is this how it's supposed to be? I'm only asking because I seem to remember it always staying on.

The LED in the center of the button does not stay on while the car is running. It comes on (green) when you press the brake with the engine off to indicate you can push the button to start the car. It also comes on (amber) when the ignition "switch" is in the ACC (accessory mode), IIRC.

The legend (wording) on the button should light up green when your headlamps are on, independently of the LED above.

Note that to power down the car while in motion (as opposed to when parked) for emergency purposes, you have to push and hold the power button for a few seconds.

Thanks, I could have sworn I remembered it being on while driving. But good to know it's as it should be.
