Default 2006 or 2008 is250!?

I'm wondering what your opinions are on these two models. I can't choose between either one so I'm asking:

1.) Are there any noticeable differences between the 2006 and 2008 IS250's?

2.) Is one better than the other?

3.) Or whatever else you want to add.

Thank you in advance!

2008 will have shark fin antenna

I believe heated/cooled seats werent an option in '06, not certain on this one though.

Other than that, they're pretty much the same except one is 2 years older!

06->07:
Shark fin added
Trunk/gas buttons relocated slightly and illuminated
X package offered for first time

07->08:
More rear legroom due to reshaped seatbacks
Improved steering feel
Default illuminated scuff color changed from blue to white
18" wheel color changed to liquid graphite
Coin holder added to dash
(this is the best looking year IMHO)
Cashmere carpet/mats changed to black for cashmere interior (this was a mid-year change, early 08s still got all cashmere)

I would go for the 08, the price difference is really not that crazy right now between them. That being said, there are some really insane deals i've seen on some '06 models that people have bought here on CL! But i'd throw in that extra cash and go for a newer car with a few "upgrades" over the 06. Hell, the liquid graphite wheels alone are worth it

I also think it's harder to find an '06 with HIDs. Vented seats were definitely available in '06, though.

Yeah I'd go with an '08. But if you're looking there you can probably work out a deal that would cost as much for a 350...

Go with the 08, my 06 had a crazy amount of issues. Good thing for factory warranty!

I'd go with the 2006, in terms of price it could be more than 5k, and you still get the same options in the 2006. Not much change from 06-08. Only thing I regret about my 06 is the Crystal White difference from the Starfire pearl, but some don't notice it anyways.

It depends on how much you want to spend and what you feel comfortable with.

Ok, some minor differences is what I'm getting then.

But reliability seems better on the 08 huh? Or is it the same anyways? I can't imagine Lexus not trying to at least fix the common problems happening to the 06 in its 08 model...
