Default Headlight Cleaning Question

I have some spotty build up on my is250 headlights. My question is, what is the cheapest yet most effective headlight cleaning kit i need to use to get rid of them? In return I will post pics of my freshly polished 250. Thanks!!

I'll try using a yellowish and cloudy remover from any auto part store, for example, in my area there is store called O'reilly auto part or Kraren auto. They cost you like $10 bucks or under depends on the quality. It can clean up a lot of thing other than yellowish and cloudy. I'll recommend use one of these. Btw nice clean car

This! Don't bother buying a kit from your local parts store.

don't do anything harsh as they aren't that bad yet. i use Plastx by Meguiar's for $6 and it'll keep them looking like new and if you start now they won't ever get cloudy.

Wetsanding and buff is only a temporary solution. It will go back to the condition AND worsen because you've removed the protection film the headlights head had before sanding it.

The ONLY solution I'd recommend is having them restored by a professional detailer. They wetsand the headlights and buff them, but the most important thing that they do is protect them.

Do it right once and never have to do it again

protection is pretty easy too

use opticoat 2.0 or a 50/50 mix of spar urethane and mineral spirits

I didn't have your "clouding" problem, but what I did recently was I used some older clay bar I had sitting around. I hit both headlamps real good with the clay and some Mother Instant detailer. Both came out crystal clear with zero visible defects. Worth a shot if you already have similar items in the garage.

GL!

wetsand, buff, and apply some sort of sealant otherwise the problem will come back quickly.
