I retract my previous question. I did more reading and it seems that spotify is not available on apple products yet. This is mirroring my android phone, which means all installed apps should be fully functional, but thanks!

 

What I want to know is: will you be able to change the tracks in spotify via the steering wheel controls?

 

Until we make Spotify available we can't really speculate about this functionality.

Would this work on a jailbroken iPhone with Displayout? I can currently mirror my iPhone to my TV with an hdmi cable.

Before anyone is surprised, a handful of apps are crippled/specifically locked out on android when connected via HDMI

Examples:

Netflix
Blockbuster
Hbo to go

I just don't want people to be surprised when they realize this functionality doesn't work (at no fault of vaistech, thank the respective app manufacturer/writer)

 

Very true. I have had SOME luck with xternal display app though. And by some I mean on some phones it works and others it doesn't. I haven't gotten it to work on ICS yet :/

By the way, on their website, it says that it works with the Samsung Galaxy S3. Anyone know if it works with the Galaxy S2? I sent them an email last night so I probably won't hear back until next week.

Also, does anyone know if this will work with FlyAudio 2nd gen?
