Default Illuminated Entry System

In the Owner's Manual of my 06' IS 350, it states the the Front and Rear Overhead Courtesy Lights should come on in addition to the Outer Foot Light. In mine, only the Outer Foot Lights come on. In the manual I didn't see anything about customizing this feature other than adjusting how long the lights will stay on.

Is the manual incorrect or is there a configuration that I'm unaware of?

I believe there's a switch on the overhead lights. You probably have it on the wrong setting.

The Owners guide just says that the Door ON/OFF Switch needs to be set to ON which it is.

Could you clarify? They do have a default time long the overhead lights stay on before they turn off. It is part of the LPS settings which the dealership could change.

The door switch on the overhead console should be in the "OUT" position for your lights to work. You would think IN is ON, but just the opposite, IN is OFF.
