Default Which front sunshade do you use?

Hi all,

Not sure if I should even ask, a sunshade is just a sunshade right? Or is it?

Just curious if anyone is using fancy ones like the Weathertech TechShade or other named brands.

Is it worth the hassle ordering/shipping one over picking up a cheap $10-20 shade at the local Walmart or something?

Thanks!

For those who didn't tint their front windshields, I like
Amazon Amazon
. Wal Mart ones tend to fit well enough, but some do allow light because it doesn't completely cover the windshield.

Also, I wouldn't get a sunshade with a tinted front windshield. You might not know when you accidentally scratch the tint.

I'm actually thinking of getting one of those for this summer! Saw it on Amazon a while ago...got a Walmart one right now...it works pretty well but i'd rather have something that fits perfectly in the windshield. Between the sunshade and the 20% tint on all the other windows, car stays considerably cooler in the summer

Appears to be the same as the Amazon one, but $25.01 instead of $33.95

Works quite well, I've had mine for a few years now.

I use one similar to those two. After seeing pictures of melted dashes, I HAD to buy one. I even use one when I park at night lol. You cant even see into my car during the day with that plus my 5% tint

Get it from sewell like Kurtz mentioned. i have super hot summers where i live. i bought mine from sewell last week, it was $25 with the club lexus discount. it is a custom fit for our cars. you don't even have to fold your visors down and there is no gaps where the sun can creep in. You will not be disappointed if you get it.

That Lexus one is nice. I use heatshield. It's custom made cut to fit for 2IS.

I use the walmart one...... fits pretty well and it cost less than 10 bucks. Does its job at keeping the car a degree or 2 cooler in the sun.

I can't afford to spend 30 bucks on sunshade...

These are cool but on the pricy side.
