Which front sunshade do you use?
#16
Get a Covercraft one from Amazon or EBay. The accordian style is SO MUCH easer to put in and take out. The one that Sewell sells is VERY nice and fits like a glove, but is a PITA to roll up, it will **** your passenger off while you attempt to roll the thing up.
The cover craft is just like the accordian one above without the Lexus Logo.

See... I think any sunshade, as long as it relatively covers your window is sufficient, that you shouldn't need one that fancy, but I digress, I know many will disagree with me.
Melting should not occur unless you have treated your interior with some cheap cleaner or product that would cause it to melt. I live in Arizona and Texas, and I use my sunshade occasionally (always if I'm uncovered and I plan to be away for a while), 50k miles later, no issues. 160+ degrees inside my car... and it's just a free one that I was given at some football game with a huge longhorn on it (hookem!)

That sucks though, I'm sure that was a pricey fix, if you had it fixed..

Works like a champ, fits perfectly into the windshield.

It also folds up accordion style, takes 5 seconds to put up or down, so not sure what slimjimtel is talking bout there...

Thanks everyone for your advices!
So it's basically HeatShield style (roll up) vs Covercraft (accordion).
Now I'm confused about the Sewell. The link to Sewell shows a pic that has the HeatShield roll up style. Is that an old pic? Can anyone confirm it folds up accordion style?
Thanks!
