Ok so I went on kbcarstuff.com and input all the info for my make and bought the hid conversion kit..I went to go install it and found out that the H11 bulbs aren't the right ones. I know I need to call them back and return and all that stuff I'm just tweaked THEY said it was the right kit and would fit and it doesnt. It seems where the harness of the conversion kit and the oem fog harness meet don't line up because the oem fog harness the two wires are wider than on the conversion kit. Could anyone tell me what kind I need? or better yet have a direct link?!

 

What year is your car? I think the bulbs for fog lights from 06-10 is different than 11-12.

 

If you have an older model IS, you need 9006 size. The low beams are the ones that are H11. I think only the 2011+ use H11 for the fogs.

 

thanks for the quick replies. The thing is I went on that site input all my vehicle info:

Lexus IS250
2008
AWD

then proceeded to " Bulbs for your 2008 lexus is250" and it just filled in the fitment and stuff for me =/
But thank you for helping me with the stock oem bulb size
