Default Car not starting

So my car isnt wanting to start. Its been getting worse over time but what it will do is this.
sometimes ill try to start it and itll go through an idle cycle(revs raise then settle) then itll sputter and then die. itll then sputter every time i try to start it and die, and then itll just crank. It wont start, nothin.

Ill wait a while and itll do the same cycle again.

Before it would just not start for a few cranks then eventually fire right up. When it does fire up it will run fine (in both instances before and now) but today after wrestling with it for over an hour the damn thing wont start. itll do the sputtering thing then just crank. I am thinking fuel pump, or air metering system? Someone please guide me?

Yes, the car runs fine at certain points. Its almost as if the car is warm it wont start as easy, but cold starts are fine.

Time for a tune up. Fuel filter, wires, plugs, caps/rotors.

Hey bro,
Word for word, your problem is the same thing i have. I just had my car towed from the highway because it started sputtering then died. then started died. again again again. then finally just cranks and wont fire up.
Are you still working on it?
