Wheels bubbling
Ok I have already read extensive threads on what happens after 4 years, or 50k but the thing is I had purchased their wheel and tire coverage on my 08 lexus is250. does anyone know what that covers. The only thing I remember is that if I were to hit a curve they would cover that, so I figure bubbling of the wheel should be as well. Plus I sent the dealer a very flamed email about how pissed I was they broke my windshield and I had to paid the mechanic to do an oil change still, and now the bubbling of all four wheels. The sales rep said he is going to try talking w/ service and having all 4 replaced brand new.
Should be covered i would say. Mine happen after the first season of winter. These wheel are cheaply coated. Had them redo it once and again a year later same thing. Even my 10 yr old ITR rim i had didnt have these issues hahaha...There answer to my issue was clean the break dust LoL. I told them i'll bring it in everytime for them to get on their knees and clean it for me.

Is this what you're talking about? I have this on almost all spokes for the 4 wheels..

If so, you're not the first. I believe it's the road salt that's killing the wheel's paint.. My stock 17's went through one winter and resulted with this.. I ended just selling these set of wheels and replacing with 2011 stock 17's. The coating on the new wheels are a lot better and it went through 1 winter already without any issues at all..
