No there is nothing to do folding mirrors with vehicle ecu!

Go to a junkyard and see if they have the auto-fold mirrors.

FYI. The reverse tilt goes through the ECU and the autofold goes straight to a switch (no ECU needed) in the IS. With the LS, it goes through a separate ECU to handle these functions. Not sure about the GS though....

Have a blast in Japan! I'm jealous.... and take plenty of pics.

price per mirror is 61,900 yen for full mirror assembly (about $800 per side). you will also need the switch module, price is 4,030 yen (about $52).
you can order them from Lexus Japan dealers. it's also based on the option packages you have as the part numbers will vary according to model years.
