FLY Audio cheap crap!
ML+ plug&play with your oem Navi unit and works perfect and plus you will get sound improvement.

So for those of us without the nav, I assume we can just buy the SL2xD2? Or does it have to be the SL2s? Can you still control your ipod when it's hooked up to these systems, or is it only/all controlled through the car?

Do we need to purchase the kit with the tuner? I know some IS's don't have XM/Sirius in them..

Finally, charging is nice, and digital is nice, but for those of us with stock stereos, without the Levinson system, does it make sense to buy one of these?

Now I understand Fly Audio is aftermarket, and not up to speed, but it is 1/3rd of the price compared to sourcing factory nav if your not lucky enough to have it stock, and for you, going from factory to FLY would be an expensive backstep.

BUT, FLY seems to be pretty decent in that it fully integrates with AC and factory CAN-Bus and I would assume if you know enough, you can skin the front-end app to look better.

Check out the FlyA thread, endless problems. Better avoid it.

If all you want is to have control of your iPod/iPhone and maybe add Bluetooth functionality some of us went with GROM adapter kit. Works great IMO, does what it advertises and all I needed.
