I was a former Garax user, just a FYI. Had them for a while and swap of them since their output was lacking that I swithed to Philips. That's experience.

Quality, well if one has the pockets, should be able to get this easily considering being able to get a luxury car.

Its still a light bulb, something that will be replaced in less then 7-10 years either way. Due to the fact that the OP asked for advice and the reason I made my comment is due to experience and you shouldn't knock it til you try it. Everyone can use some savings, as long as the quality is there, price is a relative term. Op, good luck.

The is250 is considered near luxury car. I bought my car after saving for 8 years. Doesn't mean I'm made of money and doesn't mean that you need to dump extra money if you don't want to. I don't feel like I skimped at g all. don't enforce the negative stigma. You do get what you pay for but a lower price tag doesn't always mean lower quality.

I'm not but I see too many people saying they can't get nice lights etc.. but then they can obviously afford something else more expensive. Even thou it's not a need, its more like a want.

Of course being myself, I've been on the other side of my fence where a few of my own friends say, you work for one of the top companies, you're rich... Bascially implying I should be able to get stuff easily.

aaquino,

Part of it also is that Philips makes the Ultinon in particular on a limited basis which explains the price. From what I heard as of recent, there seems like several vendors are having difficulty getting the Ultinon's at the moment. Don't think applies to the non-Ultinon bulbs.
