hey guys took my car to the dealership and they gave me 4 codes that came up, C103, C1241, C1336, and C0278,
- i searched them and found that the C1241 code could be for
1. abs hydraulic pressure differential switch input short circuit to ground
2. low battery positive voltage
the code C0278 - is for Open or short circuit in the abs solenoid relay circuit.,
-the other two codes i can't figure out, i was wondering if anyone knows anything about how i can fix this myself before the dealership robs me,,.
thanks a lot ahead for help.
I assume you have an 08 from your username. If you do, you may still be under factory warranty if under 50k miles, and you're almost certainly still under powertrain warranty (if under 70k). That means if any of this is powertrain related, it may be covered.

How is it that dealership tech. pulls out all these codes but nobody takes the time to explain what each means. NOt a dealership I want to go to.
If I were you, I would call them and demand an explanation for each of the codes. Hopefuly, you are under warranty and they can take care of all these issues.
Yes is an 08 is350, not under warranty anymore, they charging me 120 for the computer that they hooked up to it and said he'll need about another 3 hours to tell me whats wrong, and their hourly charge rate is 119, but they told me they do it 90$/hr. which pisses me off ill be paying close to 400-500$ just for them to tell me whats wrong.

Wow OK I'm not sure I've heard a story of someone getting ripped off worse on CL. You can take your car to any Autozone or equivalent or most independent auto shops and they'll check the codes for free OR you could spend $30 on an OBD II scanner of your own and get them yourself.
I have never once heard of a dealership charging an hour's labor to simply hook up an OBD II scanner to a car and pull codes. That's not an hour's labor - that's 2 minutes' labor.
I can tell you that anytime I've brought my car in with a problem, they've charged me an hour's labor to diagnose it. No more. I've never heard of a dealership saying it'll be 4 hours labor just to tell you what's wrong. Particularly when all the codes are related and appear to be related to the VSC.
As has been mentioned, it should be free or close to free to pull codes, and a flat rate, generally an hour to an hour and a half, to diagnose the issue...
i thought auto zone scanners can't read the lexus major codes or something., or i was feed a bunch of bs
You were fed BS. I purchased an OBDII scanner off Amazon for $30 which not only reads codes but displays a description (instead of just giving the code and making you Google it) and allows you to erase codes. I have used it several times on my car with no problems at all.
your battery is low?? replace battery first. low voltage can make other components not working properly because they are not getting the correct voltage
did they charge you a diagonsic or just to check the code?
