yeah i changed battery about month ago with a new one, i can't think of the name of battery but it was about 150$, which i had a 50$ coupon, so I'm pretty sure its not battery
it went on when after front passenger side hub went after hitting a big pot hole, and about the battery from my knowledge it matched, i got it from auto zone online and had it shipped. and i bought it by entering my vehicle info in, which match the battery
your battery is low?? replace battery first. low voltage can make other components not working properly because they are not getting the correct voltage
did they charge you a diagonsic or just to check the code?
he said 120 for the codes and another 3 hours or so to tell mw whats wrong, at 90$/hr
just got the call, they said my ABS ECU needs to be changed, said it looked rusty or corrosion on it somehow. Part number 89540-53290. and it runs 1,700$.. wtf
^^^ so they charged 120 just to pull the code and then 90 an hour for diagnostic??? thats a rip off and 1700 for the ecu!!!! at least you know the problem now

As I said in the other thread, its prohibitively expensive to just throw a part at that and hope it works... now you know for sure... might shop and see if you can find a used one... they fail on cars, but I wouldn't say they are a common failure...
yeah I'm going to have the dealership instill it for me, hopefully its a ten min job, i also read some guys saying the the unit needs to be reseted/ reprogrammed, i would install it on my own but since the dealership is 1.5hrs away from my house, ill just be shipping the unit to them and have them do the work,
So how much do you have to pay the dealer total for the odb scan and pulling the codes? Regardless of the amount, I'd fight it considering you can get that **** done for free at even a crappy auto parts store.
