Default Window Tint

Just got my windows tinted at San Diego Tint. They did a great job. Next up Wheels and Intake. Any suggestions? I would like an intake that sounds good but not crazy loud

F Sport is the ONLY CA CARB exempt intake (smog legal). Joe Z intake pipe with an HKS Filter will give you same HP and way cheaper. Joe Z intake tube is sold through Carson Toyota in So Cal. Check out their site www.l-tuned.cm

I'm moving to CA in a few weeks. Is there still a law against front tint?

Tint looks great! Is that 20%? I did mine with 35% to keep it legal, but wish I had done the rear windows in 20% though. I am using the K&N intake, because I got it for cheap ($60 on eBay), but I have lots of great things about the Joe Z set up.

in CA, you can tint the back windows as dark as you want, but the front 2 windows (legally) must not be tinted... i went with 15% all the way around... i don't like the way a car looks with the front 2 windows untinted...

I was going to do 20 all the way around but when i got there they were finishing up an A8 that was 15 all the way around and it looked too good to pass up.

Yes, I had went there a few years ago with my toyota's and forgot all about them then when i was in the market again i did a yelp search and remembered that I used them before and they were great. Not to mention he had about 40+ reviews on yelp all 5 stars. He does great work. And as mentioned before I will be selling the rims soon.

Technically, you can tint your front 2 windows. Most tint shops should carry the California-legal tint, which is barely tinted but still helps. I had to replace my front 2 windows with the legal tint because a cop cited me for them being too dark before.

And I would recommend the Joe-Z intake.
