Default warning! jmdtoy drl

To anyone thinking of buying these drl w decoders, do not buy! I just installed one of them on my car and did not put it in the housing to make sure it worked properly, well after about a min the decoder started smoking! I unplugged it and threw it in the trash!

It may have just been faulty. Did you call the seller and talk to them? I bet they would send you another one or refund your money.

I could care less, they r selling a faulty product, I wouldn't put anything they sold me in my car, if I would have put everthing back together shut the hood and drove I would have had a serious electrical problem, ive been working on cars my whole life, smoking wires not good,

I would definitely call and complain... let them know what's going on.

At least, you can get a refund if you don't want a replacement.

I would give them a call it could be a defect. At least let them know what's going on so they can fix it. I've had mine for a few months now and it works great.

so youre saying to not buy from them because you had 1 bad experience and you didnt even bother contacting the store to see if they can resolve it?

IMO thats not really how you convince people to not buy from places.

maybe if they provided bad customer service then yes do not buy but you didnt even call them or send them an email yet.

hit em up n see what they can do.

ya that's Exactically how I work, I could care less what they can do to resolve it, the reason I posted this was to give people a heads up on,what happened, not to get another product from them or refund

I have there DRL in my car and they work fine. I have had them installed for a few months now with no issue.

Is it possible that you might have gotten a defective part? Did you bother even trying the second decoder to see if there was any issue?
