Question Changing bulbs on DRLs

I want to change out my DRLs to yellow bulbs. The bulbs I found are 55w. Would it cause any problem?

I had the some concern as you when I was changing my DRL bulbs. I didn't get the Nokya's because I was worried it would be over-wattage if I would turn on my high beams or whatever. So I went safe with the Luminics 12V 55W Hyper Yellow Bulbs

I just changed my DRL bulbs yesterday to Putco 3K bulbs. Theyre rated at 65 watts but Ive heard from other members that the extra 10 watts wont give you any problems

I wouldn't go over the recommended wattage... you'll end up taking a risk of melting the harness/wires.

Yellow is a good alternative with DRL since DRL operate at half power output so you end up with yellow regardless of what hyper-white bulbs you use.

Nokya's are ok, but I don't like the quality. I had burned through 2 sets within a year. But it could just be my bad luck...

Very true, thats why I'm running wire harnesses for my lows and fogs

wire harnesses from the lows to the battery and fogs to the battery? not using any stock wires on those.
