It should just be plug and play, I didnt have any problems with mine. Maybe your trying to put them on backwards?

I got the stock out but it seems like the wire is tape up closely so there's barely any room for me to put in the longer length bulb. it is a plug and play but I was wondering did you guys have any trouble trying to put it in.

Maybe you got the wrong type? It should fit in just like as is.

Do you have a picture?

Once I'l get my CREE's I'll take pictures.

The 1/2" longer is not the problem because my JLC 13-SMD reverse lights which is longer than 1/2" and fits fine.

I know what you mean. I bought mine from JLC and it fits. At first I thought it wouldn't fit because it was longer than stock but you just need to pull it back a little.

Yup, it can go quite longer because I did stick test by putting a chop stick and see how far in it went until I touched the housing and compared it to the light's lenght Plenty of room.

Maybe have to pull the harness back a little bit to have some room to get the reverse in there. I just got mine in, pics will come soon.

i had the same problem. got the HUGE (double the OEM size) backup lights from ijdmtoy and had to use a panel pop to remove where the harness is clipped in. its just the harness thats stuck. free that and your golden.

It might be easier to peel the trunk liner back so you can get more slack out of the harness.
