The harness wire maybe around a hook which is just taut. Get the cable off the hook and the the light shall be free to move. Once finished, put the the harness wire back taut again.

Thanks Sango! I figured it out this morning but for some reason it doesn't look
Bright like that , it was windy outside so I was in a rush putting it in so I'm
Not sure if I put it in straight or crooked because when I tried to reverse and take a look at it. I would see the Cree lights on a car left of me with my left reverse lights on

When you put it back in, you need to get it into the right spot where the socket is in the securing mechanism where you can turn the socket and it click locks in place.
