is it difficult to change the lights to LED bulbs yourself
any pics or threads on this would help
also i went to my local shop and they told me i had to send the side view mirrors to california to change the bulbs...i found that strange...any help would be greatly appreciated

if you tilt the mirror all the way up you can reach your fingers under the glass on the bottom and pull the mirror glass out of the housing. it is held in by some little clips. don't be afraid you won't break it.Originally Posted by chris83

once you get the glass out you will see a few screws that are very blatant to drop off the front of the mirror cover.
you will then have access to the puddle lights. very simple 5-10 min tops
