Default Anything to stop VHT paint from fading?

I used VHT Niteshades (and clearcoat) to tint my tails way back in 2009. They started out BLACK and have faded to a color I really love from the sunlight. They are best described as a dr.pepper color haha.

I'd like to stop the fading process, albeit slow, but I want them to forever stay this color. Any suggestions on any type of clearcoat that will stop the fading?

Will post pics of tail lights shortly.

Thanks

And a pic for reference, it's hard for an iPhone to capture it's natural color though.

Would edit first post but I'm on mobile.

A clear coat that needs a hardener to activate it will work best for uv protection. A spray can clear coat wont do anything to protect it. If you did use a clear coat with a hardener, there might not be anything you can do to stop the fading since its probably from the nightshade spray not being a very good product, but a cheap simple way to smoke lights. Try the clear coat with hardener (2 coats at least) and see if it stops. If if doesnt, take the lights to a body shop to get em to smoke them with automotive paint materials so it lasts longer. Im a painter at a body shop so ive fixed lots of tail lights after VHT nightmares. Good Luck!
