Okay guys I need some help. I've been looking into getting new rims for the spring.

I found a very very good deal from a friend on 19" 8.5/9.5 +36 Volk GT-7. I know a few members have had these wheels on there IS. How do you guys like them?

Heres the dilemma I've been having, I've been wanting the SSR sp3 for a while now but should I save the money and just get the GT-7 or spend more and get the sp3's?

Volk GT-7 under $1500 with tires used. ( have more money to spend of other mods)
or
New SSR sp3, around 3k plus 1k for tires and mounting.

I would keep saving for the SSR's. I'm not really a fan of the volk gt7. Plus the ssr's are pretty rare here and I think it's worth the wait and the investment.

That's a great deal right there. I'd say go for it and if you don't like it you can always sell them for higher price.

 

what's there to think about Volks are Volks

 

i think you should wait for the sp3's. i don't really like the gt-7s. plus you said you wanted the sp3's you dont want to spend the money on the volks and then decide you still want the sp3's.

 

Buy and resell them
SP-3's are hotter.

depends on how fast you save. if its going to be awhile get the GT7 and save for the SSR and sell the GT7 when the time comes.

 

Depends on what look your going for. I like the SSR's WAY better!

 

SSR's would be my choice. Far more classy IMO...

I have the money, its just do i want to spend 3k on wheels or only spend 1500 and have money for like BBkK's or other things for the car.

 

SSR is way nicer but double the $, so if you have the $ then go for the SSR if not the GT7
