Can you maybe snap a pic of what it looks like complete?... Is it just pretty much cutting the metal tab where the fender meets the bumper then drilling a hole and securing it with a clip or tie wrap?

These aren't the greatest of pictures, but it's pretty difficult to take pictures without removing the wheels. There are certainly other ways of doing the tab modification, but this is what my car has.
It should give you a general idea of what needs to be done.

I cut my tabs completely off and just use the black snap in deals. Works fine and haven't had any issues highway driving and all.

i only had a slight rub so i made a relief cut after removing the bolt and bent the mounting tab all the way back. then i cut and trimmed the reaming sheet metal. placed a self taping screw....no rubbing now.

Krinkles it's the tab where the bumper meets the fender. Take off the OEM screw from the factory position, dremmel/cut cut off that section and place another bolt further up. Are your fenders rolled?

Hi Krinkles, from my experience, with your proposed set up, you might not even have to relocate the fender tab at all.

I have 19x8.5 +35 with 235/35/19 which is 10 mm. wider than yours. Mine also has taller overall diameter of 25.47 inches versus 25.31" of yours. I only have very very faint rubon the liner which can be cured by heat gun (so minor I didn't even feel when it rubbed!). Considering your set up is both shorter and narrower, you will be very safe unless you slam your car to the ground.

mine is rubbing on my 20s after lowering on BC Coilovers.... and its definitely bent the crap out of this tab..... any pics of how you guys cut and bent or secured this piece would be helpful.... i appreciate the pics above to help locate the problem

I'll be taking off my front bumper tonight. I'll take pics of my fender tab. But the fender tab is right where the fender meets the bumper. There is a bolt holding your bumper that needs to be removed. I actually cut the metal tab about 5mm on each side with an air grinder and then hammered it up and out of the way. Bumper stays in place with a zip tie.
