Default Shorty Antenna..

Ok, I have an 2010 IS350c and I cannot stand the long antenna that is on this car. Do any of you guys know of a replacement antenna, specifically a short (to really short) antenna for this car? I see the IS300 has after market short antennas that i really like (looks like a little 1.4 in) and wonder if that antenna made for the 1st gen IS will fit on my IS350c?

Anyone know if this is possible? I want to get as short as possible as I never listen to FM/AM anyways, just want the car to look more slick. So losing clarity to FM/AM is no big deal for me.

Thoughts?

Thanks..

Isn't the radio antenna integrated into the rear window?

My guess is the OP is asking about the antenna I have circled in red.

Ebay has lots of them, The rear window antenna won't work for the Vert when you put it in the trunk!!!

That is correct... I'm thinking the fitment of the antenna of the 1st gen IS will not fit the 2nd gen IS convertible rear antenna as circled in the pic... But wondered if anyone tried putting 1st gen IS antenna fitment (from the roof i believe of that car) onto an 2nd gen IS convertible (rear as circled) on??

Reason I ask , is because there seem like many options for the 1st gen IS, but not much open option for the 2nd gen IS (convertible).

Thoughts??

Check out this thread on the my.is forum. I started it back in April when we picked up an 2011 IS350C.

Reception is mixed, depending on the mfr, but if your only concerned with looks, this definitely works!
