My headlights lens are yellowing like crazy, I have no reason why. (never buy a used car from Florida :/ ) I have tried a few different light restoration kits but none have worked... does anyone know of a proven way to fix this or is there a vendor that sells just the replacement lens?
thank you in advance!

You can get replacements from Sewell.

I'm sorry I thought he meant the entire assembly. I don't believe Sewell sells the clear lens as a standalone part. Might be able to find something on eBay.

Lexus only sells the complete headlight. I'm not sure of anyone else that sells them.

Unfortunately there isn't (to my knowledge) an easy way to repair this. Even if you could purchase the headlight "lenses" separately, replacing them would require heating up the entire headlight to remove the current lens and resealing them afterward.
Mine are yellowed and hazy as well and I periodically buff them to eliminate the haze, but there isn't much that can be done to remedy the yellowed plastic. If you figure out a way to do this without replacing the entire headlamp, please share!

While we're on the topic, does anyone know if the 06-10 headlight lenses would fit a 2011 headlight?

Either replace the whole headlights OR its for sure cheaper to find a professional local detailer to restore them for you. My detailer did an excellent job, he even used a sealant to insure that it doesn't yellow again (been about 5 months, still looks dam good!)

If you don't know where to find a local detailer, I suggest go sign up at autopia.org, go to their regional thread and search/ask for a local detailer at your area.

you're gonna have to buff them out and use a UV sealant to restore them.....there's tons of videos on youtube and products out there that can help

Sand buff... Sand buff again .... And sand buff again. I bought a turtle lens kit and it worked great but i still got some rock dents that aint ever coming out. I took me about an hour to do it. But the yellow should come out. Did the kit you bought have different levels of sand paper

We have a winner. I know a guy who does headlight restores, he's not cheap, but he holds the patent to a special UV resistant coat that is cured onto the headlight. Comes out perfect, and lasts forever. If youre interested PM me.Originally Posted by BoOst3d
