Default is250 issues

Just picked up my used is250 today. I noticed my hids turn on and off on their own and the gauge cluster lense is scratched like crazy. Is the hid issue under warranty at dealerships? Has anyone fixed the gauge cluster lense without replacing it? Thanks for your help guys!

i'm in the same boat as you. i've read that replacing the bulbs usually fixes the hid problem. if its under warranty deff. take it in as these bulbs aren't cheap.

about the gauge cluster...that sucks. i hate when people don't take care of their vehicles. i would recommend that 3m headlight repair stuff....but im not sure how well it'd work..

Is this a CPO vehicle?

I had the dealership replace my gauge cluster lense and trim 3 times because they kept scatching it - even when replaced, the replaced one was scratched up too during the install itself! Just recently had it replaced and it is perfect now, scatch free.

What year is your car? Not sure on the warranty for the bulbs. Take it in to the dealer see what they say. The worst they can say is your not in warranty, and try to charge you 500 to change the bulbs

I would recommend getting Philips Ultinon 6000K instead for that kind of price. Forum vendor Nigel-JDMParts is selling.
