Hi all, I was just recently looking at the lip kit on my 09 IS250 and started to look more into the 2011's and am really starting to like the way the 2011 front looks i looked into how much i could get a 2011 front bumper for and sewell wants like $1,600 then after further research i looked on ebay and they have the 2011 fronts painted for like $389.00 for that price its definatley do able so i guess to cut a long story short....

will the 2011 IS250 front bumper bolt directly on my 09 IS250?
Will my 09 fog lights fit onto the 2011 bumper?

sounds like a good deal but u will need the fogs etc... actually considering getting that is350C front bumper...hmmm

 

no it is not a direct bolt on... there are misc. parts that need to be ordered to have it fit properly

 

so the 09 fogs definitley will not fit? thats a drag they look almost identical

Batmobile, any idea what misc. parts are required?

 

i actually have a 2010... and 2009 and 2010 are the same... i just had a shop upgrade everything for me and they kept on calling me to complain that they needed to change things.... things like brackets for the headlamp washers, headlights, fogs, fog covers, bottom grill, and top grill and surround i believe are all different

 

i see what you mean ive been looking into and your right the headlight brackets and misc. parts required for the fitment are available but such a hassle to find the most complete kit i found is on sewell it comes with the fogs grills etc.. its priced at just under 1400.00 i guess this mod will just have to wait not as easy as i thought

 

I have a '09 IS and converted my front bumper to the '11 front bumper. You will need more than just the bumper. You will need off the top of my head for a '11 front bumper conversion:

Front Bumper (duh)
X2 Foglights (no 09 will not fit)
X2 Foglight mounting bracket
Upper Inner Grill
Upper Grill Surround
Lower Grill
Tow Hook Cover
Foam Impact Absorber
Bumper brackets that mount below the headlights (I didn't get this, modded the old one to fit the bumper)

 

what about the parking assist sensors? would it fit?

 

MRBBQ, thank you very much for clearing that up! If i want it bad enough sounds like it just makes sense to buy the entire conversion as a whole from sewell

 

mrbbq... can you take a pic of the inside of your bumper... i'm trying to figure out how the foglights are being held up... the cover doesn't really support it and i just wanted to make it like factory... the screws don't really align up with the bumper unless i'm doing it wrong
