Default IS350 door panel top and dashboard damage

My darling 6 yr old nailed through the door panel! It was neat I guess so it went to deep gouges! Ugh! I always assumed it was leather but after research I'm a bit confused! Is it leather or vinyl I am needing to repair?

Are you referring to the center of the door panel? I think it's vinyl.

Wait! lol nailed thru as in...

She used her finger nails and cut through it?

or

She poked a hole in it with an actual nail?

Either way, i think those door pieces are actually vinyl.

Ask your dealership who they use to patch up their leather/vinyl. I have a 5 year old Audi and the Audi dealer put a tear in the door panel leather/vinyl when they changed the door lock. They gave me the name of their guy (funny enough the businees is call "Cracks R Us"), he came to my home, did a fantasic job. Patched it and then blended & sprayed the color to match it 100%. I'm super picky and I was really happy with the patch. Even in sunlight you can't tell the color difference. I can bet you that dealerships patch interior leather/vinyl all the time. I wouldn't try doing it myself, I've seen those patch kits and they're really hard to make look good.
