I just received my VLEDS and began to replace my puddle lights, when i swapped the lights, i noticed the new LED does not fit completely into the puddle light assembly and will not let it lock closed.. I ordered the bulbs straight from the link provided in brociouz's thread on LED replacement. Can someone help me here..? I checked a few other thread and have not been able to find a solution. Should it be able to completely seal like it does with the stock halogen bulb?

VLED most likely changed the design but did not update the schematics of the design change which still has the old one which would of fit.
You could try JLC Lighting.

I recently changed my puddle lights and ran into the same situation as you. You can get the LEDs to completely fit into the housing by inserting the LED completely into the socket then just bending the LED downward while keeping it fully seated. This will allow you to lock the LED back into place. Not the best solution, but it worked for me without problems and the fitment of the LED in the socket still seemed tight, so not to come loose or anything. Give it a try if you don't want to hassle with returns.

You can get this 5-SMD T10 from forum vendor Auto Design which sells JLC Lighting.
