Default e-cutout installed

What up CL'ers;

I've caught the BUG!

Recently, I've done the following: new Megan EZ coils from Circuit MS, smaller front tires for clearance, Visage rep front lip from BaysonR, Seibon CF sides and rear lip kit, resonator delete, single electric cutout after the second cats.

Pictures and full review coming soon.

With an electric cutout. You can make your exhaust really loud with the flip of a switch. Same effect as running open exhaust.

Electric cutout

Old school. Have to crawl under the car to unbolt a plate that covers the opening.

Any good muffler shop would be able to install them. All you do is weld them in. You would have to handle the electrical side of it I would assume.

For the record....I was just showing what a cutout was. Wasn't implying these would work on the IS.

I see the point of it on turbo car who want to run open down pipe or high HP all motor cars. However on a 2IS it's a waste of time and all you're doing is making yourself look like an *** on the street not to mention the ticket you'll probably get if I cop hears it.

Correct me if im wrong but we all drive Lexus's not civics, isn't the quietness one of the reasons for driving a sport luxury car? Ive had cutouts on previous fox body stangs and and an 86 GN both old style with bolts but not on the lex!!!! .02

Nothing wrong with having a loud car. Even when you mod the acoustics of the 2IS, they sound nothing like a civic
