Default hid bulb question

I want to put hids in my fog headlights and running lights and wanted to know if you need to change anything to run hids?

Searching the forum simply for "HID fogs" or "HID DIY" will return tons of results.

There are multiple DIY threads for HID fogs.

For DRLs, your option is to replace them with LEDs, not HIDs. There are also many DIY threads on this as well.

Here are my HID Lights I have set up. I swapped out my factory headlight bulbs for 8000K bulbs and I installed an 8000K hid kit in the fog lights as well. Installing the relay for the fog lights was quite difficult. Also all the Led running lights are on. If converting running lights to LEDs be sure to get both bulbs for each side.

Thanks for this thread, I'm looking at replacing my HID's at some point-they've been giving me issues lately.
