But to OP, yes, don't expect too much from the manual. It's not the greatest bit of engineering. It's enough to get by, however.

the car is SLOWWW, but much more FUN to drive than an AUTO "shifting it to D and drive"... makes me wanna ZzZ

too bad there nothing we can do to make the 250 stronger, faster, better

if you cant go fast, just SLAM it and drive slowww with Style!

there's nothing wrong with the 250, it's more on the thread title that's causing the flame. may have chosen a better one, but hey it's catchy though

They wont let you special order one? I don't see why you wouldn't be able too. There's been a few members here that have special ordered cars to their exact specs. I don't see why the dealer wouldn't let you special order a 250 manual with the options you want? Might wanna find a used one if you can and test drive it, there's been complaints of the manual transmission being not so great.

Edit: Nvm just checked the Lexus site, guess they don't have 6 speed 350's!

Let's not turn this into another auto vs manual thread. We all know the plus and minus of each. No need to beat on a dead horse.

i see your bay area traffic and raise you LA traffic.

for my 250MT, i called every dealership around and asked if they had a 250 stick in the color combo i wanted. none of them did, but they offered to special order it for me and said it would take about 6 months. i wanted instant gratification, so i kept calling around until finally longo lexus said they had one because someone else had ordered it but never came to pick it up.

Why would you want to get a brand new 350 and then void the powertrain warranty right off the bat by doing that? lol!
