just bought some Goodyear blades from Costco for $7.99/pair. it's not the best imo, the edges are not touching the windshield but its usable if you arent ****. there is a thread on wiper blades here, try searching.

I got the factory ones from Sewell Parts. They were about $10 for a pair I think. I got the same problem too where the edge of the passenger side wiper doesn't touch but it's the wiper itself that's the problem.

Get OEM wiper insert replacements ... they rock!

And they are cheap too - $14 a pair at my dealership

I just buy the OEM blade inserts, and install them in the existing blades. They are cheap enough that I usually just pick them up at the dealer.

Default Blades

Just buy the good blades at Walmart. And keep the metal Lexus fixture. And slide in the rubber piece.

Also if you want to save some money. Windshield blades are changed because they get dirty and start streaking. If you take some Isopropyl rubbing alcohol. And wipe the blades down every couple of weeks. The blades will last a long time.

Ive changed mine once in the 4 years I have owned my RX.

Please try searching. The admins just created a mega-thread on this, and a simple forum search for "wiper blades" will return many results that will answer your questions.

I would just go OEM. I've read about people going with aftermarket wiper blades and running into problems.

Get OEM. On a few occasions, service just replaced it for free, so I got a free set. Other times I buy.

always go OEM, I tried the other brands like Rain-X and Bosch and the OEM ones are way better IMO

What does the rubbing alcohol do for the rubber insirts, I mean how does it protect the rubber?
Thanks

From what I was advised, the wiper blades should be changed about every other season. If I recall it was after summer and the other is after winter. This way, after the extreme conditions, you will have a fresh set of blades because it during the extreme conditions, the blades life would drop.

As for the wiper blade edges not touching for the passenger; do you mean the very extreme edge? When I saw mine, it's just barely touching but is still able to wipe the edge as I can see the area is still being cleaned (my window is a bit dirty!!). Suspect the metal frame or the plastic which goes on top of it may need to be inspected if in fact the blade has no contact at the edge at all.
