Question Wiper blades (merged threads)

Anyone know the sizes of our wiper blades? Thinking of buying the Valeo Ultimate wiper blades.

Because they're worn? Sorry, I couldn't resist... Ok, I'll slap myself now

Oh, by the way, it's 22" for the driver's side, 20" for the passenger side.

Thanks Javy for the info.

Mine are not worn out yet, but I really like the Valeo ones. I was just going to pick some because there is a good deal on tirerack & I'm ordering winter tires at the same time.

Even if you rarely use them, sunlight and ozone cause the rubber to deteriorate. Most experts recommend replacement once a year.

Who knows, maybe the guy wants aftermarket ones like PIAA. I'm curious now that the question has been asked.

Default Wiper Assembly

'08 IS250

The wiper blade assy has four or five plastic pieces that run the length of it which snap together. I lost the end piece on the passenger side.. I can't find this part on-line..only the blades. Hopefully, I don't have to buy the whole wiper assy just to replace this piece of plastic.

Any suggestions?

I think you do. I'm almost certain that the rubber inserts are the only part of the wiper blade that is sold separately.

What were you doing when you lost that piece?

If it just fell off i would take it back to the dealer and tell them it flew off. might be covered under warranty.

After I examined the assy again, there's only three plastic pieces...a long middle piece and a shorter piece on each end.

I don't know when the piece flew off. Could have been at the car-wash (most likely). I just figured it wouldn't be covered under warranty.
