^ There's also the Prestigious Society nav override module for those not comfortable splicing wires. It unlocks the nav and allows video playback while in motion (for those with Mark Levinson).

Depends on the generation of nav you have and if it's the newest one updated via USB and dealer computer connection (yes, for now) or older via DVD (no, you can still update yourself).

^ If you have the HDD-based nav I believe so. You can still order the Nav DVD and self install for early MY 2IS's.

Wish I could just port Google maps into my car Nav or utilize my cell phone's navi system / google maps. Then I would never have to upgrade it again!

Don't forget about labor charge the dealership will charge (about 1 hour) for the install/upgrade to HDD-based nav systems.
