Hey guys, I have a 2009 IS250 RWD. Im wanting to put 20s on it soon and I need tire size suggestions. I really want to have the same size all around so I can rotate them, but I dont want any problems with rubbing, excessive road noise, and speedometer being off. I'd like to keep all that close to stock as possible. What size do you suggest? Im thinking 245/35/20 all around?
all close to stock? Impossible. If you have rwd then do you have 255/40/18 in the rear and 225/40/18 in the front or 225.45.17 all around. So hard to say what is "stock"
on 20" don't go 35 series it sit too high for the tires to rub bad up front, me friend had that size 245/35/30 he could even turn the wheel, if you want 245, you should go 245/30/20, which I have now up front on my car, you should be OK
Are you lowered? You'll have issues unless your offsets are high on the wheels. I have 20's and am slammed. 225/30/20 and 255/30/20. Roller rears and fronts with a bit of metal work. Picture for reference.
Okay, so Im a Lexus Lady lol so Im not real sure what you mean when you say if the 20s offsets are high. It says they're "high offset" Im attaching the link to the wheel and tire package Im wanting so you can see the tire options I have. Im open to buying a different size tire not offered in the package, if needed, to have the best all around fit.
Maybe Im being thick headed, but since my car is stock suspension and not lowered, what would my ride be like with 245/35/20 all around, would it rub in the front? and if it did rub, could the wheel well be modified enough to make room?
